The Scottish Conservatives have selected Tim Eagle as their candidate for the 2026 Scottish Parliamentary elections in Moray.
Tim Eagle, a sheep farmer and current MSP by profession, was selected by local members in a meeting that discussed the state of rural Scotland, the A96, and the lack of support for the Oil & Gas industry from the Scottish Government.
He will stand on the Scottish Conservative manifesto which includes overturning the SNP's presumption against new Oil & Gas, dualling the A96 and A9, and tackling Scotland's drug horror with the Right to Recovery Bill.
Tim Eagle said:
'The Scottish Conservatives are the only party holding the SNP to account- and now we can get them out.'
'Moray needs a change from 18 years of SNP failure. Labour aren't going to provide it, they have been in lockstep with the SNP on most big issues in the Scottish Parliament.'
'This won't happen unless we unite to vote Scottish Conservative- the only party that can beat the SNP in Moray.'
